Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order or using the AURÉA Luxury Hair website. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the AURÉA Luxury Hair website and any purchases made through it. AURÉA Luxury Hair operates in the Republic of South Africa and complies with all applicable South African laws, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

By placing an order or creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including colours, textures, lengths, and materials. However, slight variations may occur due to photography lighting, monitor settings, and the natural properties of hair.

All products are subject to availability. In the event that an item is out of stock after your order has been placed, we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative, a backorder, or a full refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice; however, any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

We accept the following payment methods (availability shown at checkout):

  • Card payments — Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards, processed securely via Peach Payments hosted checkout
  • Instant EFT — bank-to-bank payment via Ozow
  • Pay by bank / EFT — bank transfer via PayFast
  • Laybuy instalment plan — pay in three equal instalments over six weeks (powered by PayFast Laybuy; subject to approval and minimum order value)

AURÉA Luxury Hair does not store your card details. All payment card data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. Payment must be confirmed before an order is processed and dispatched.

Discount and referral codes may be applied at checkout where eligible. Codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated, and are subject to individual terms issued with the code.

5. Order Processing & Confirmation

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation and a PDF invoice once your order has been placed and payment confirmed. A second notification will be sent when your order is dispatched.

Stock is reserved at the time of checkout and deducted from available inventory only upon confirmation of successful payment. Unpaid orders are automatically cancelled within a short window to release reserved stock — you will not be charged for a cancelled unpaid order.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example, in the event of pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or suspected fraudulent activity. You will receive a full refund if your order is cancelled by us.

6. Referral Programme

AURÉA operates a customer referral programme. Existing customers may generate a referral code to share with new customers. When a referred customer places a qualifying order using the code, the referrer may earn a commission and the referred customer may receive a discount — as specified at the time the code is issued.

Referral commissions are paid out in accordance with the terms displayed within your account dashboard. AURÉA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time. Fraudulent referral activity will result in forfeiture of all commissions and may result in account suspension.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver throughout South Africa. Estimated delivery times are:

  • Standard delivery: 3–5 business days
  • Express delivery: 1–2 business days (where available)

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, courier delays, or circumstances beyond our control. A tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services.

Risk of loss and title for goods passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your parcel upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours.

8. Returns & Refunds

Our full Return and Refund Policy is available here. In summary:

  • Returns must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery
  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging
  • Opened or used hair products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 are not affected by these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the AURÉA Luxury Hair website — including text, images, logos, videos, and design elements — is the exclusive property of AURÉA Luxury Hair and is protected by applicable South African and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AURÉA Luxury Hair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11. Consumer Protection Act Compliance

These terms are subject to the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Nothing in these terms is intended to limit, restrict, or exclude any right that you may have under the CPA. In the event of any conflict between these terms and the CPA, the CPA will prevail.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
